Mat Pilates – Mondays, 6:30 – 7:30 pm
Looking to strengthen your core muscles while having a fun workout? Pilates is a great way to combine strengthening and flexibility in one session. Pilates is a series of movements combined with breath work designed to strengthen the body’s core. You’ll enhance the mind-body connection and improve your posture during this all over body workout. Yoga – Wednesdays, 6:15 – 7:30 pm
Unwind, breathe, relax – connect the body and mind through yoga postures. Learn to breathe deeply, gently stretch your tight muscles, and improve your flexibility and circulation. Let go of the activities of the day by taking this time out for yourself. For all levels from beginner to advanced. Claire Magrath. $88
Zumba – Wednesdays, 6:30 – 7:30 pm
Zumba is a Latin-inspired fitness program with dance and aerobic elements. Zumba’s choreography incorporates hip-hop, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts, and some Bollywood and belly dance moves. You don’t need to know anything about dance or fitness to take a Zumba class! Just show up and have a good time while getting fit! Becca Jacobson. $92
Adult Swim Lessons – Wednesdays, 6:30 – 7:30 pm
Learning how to swim or making swimming your daily workout is a great way to have an active and healthy lifestyle. In this class, beginners will learn the fundamentals while intermediate swimmers will improve their breathing and stroke technique. Front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke and basic safety skills are covered. Our adult swim lessons are taught by experienced instructors and are tailored to your abilities. Classes are kept small to ensure individualized instruction. $120
Spanish I – Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 pm
Have fun learning Spanish! This interactive course will cover basic high-frequency vocabulary with an emphasis on communication. Dynamic instruction will include a variety of activities designed to maximize vocabulary and ease of expression. This focused approach will give you the tools you need to interact comfortably in many common situations. Ines Pesciera. $120
Spanish II – Mondays, 6:00 – 7:30 pm
Build upon your current knowledge of Spanish. Learn more advanced grammar and vocabulary and improve your speaking, reading and writing skills. Have fun while you learn el idioma espanol. For those with some previous Spanish experience. Ines Pesciera. $120
Knitting in the Neighborhood – Mondays, 6:15 – 7:30 pm
Have you always wanted to make your own scarf? Or, do you have a pattern or project and need help along the way? Beginners will learn how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off, as well as basic increases and decreases. More advanced students will learn how to read patterns, correct mistakes, and make an item fit. The small class size allows for personal attention. Basic Computers – Mondays, 6:00 – 7:30 pm
Discover how easy and fun it is to use your computer and the Internet? In this course you will gain a deeper understanding of: maintenance, Windows, Word, email accounts, security software, virus protection, saving and emailing photos, Internet searching, computer maintenance, how information is saved and drives set up, operating systems, taskbars, and browser toolbar and setting options. Don’t be intimidated! We will make it clear and simple.
Class lessons are tailored to meet the needs of those in the class. Small class size allows for personal attention. Students with laptops are welcome to bring them to class. Anne Weaver. $90
Water Aerobics – Mondays, 6:30 – 7:30 pm
Water Aerobics is an excellent way to a fit and healthy body! Join us for a strong cardiovascular, conditioning workout with emphasis on flexibility and toning. Classes is in shallow water. Non -swimmers are welcome. Julie Nall. $80
