Morey Middle School After School Programs

Morey After School Clubs meet after school Mondays through Thursdays.
Clubs will run from 3:15 – 4:15 pm (some clubs run later).
A 2016-2017 Morey After School Registration Form is required in order to participate in After School Clubs. Forms are available in Room 134 or see link below.

The fee is $75/semester to cover the cost of the instructor, coordination, and basic supplies, however no student will be turned away for inability to pay.

Please bring Registration Form and cash or check (or Payment Plan form) to the Morey Middle School Main Office.

After School Clubs Schedule
Mondays: Academic Zone (Homework help, Tutoring, Board Games, Magic Cards, Computer Work), Sports Zone, Minecraft Club, Art Club, Mathletics/Math Counts Club

Tuesdays: Academic Zone (Homework help, Tutoring, Board Games, Magic Cards), Sports Zone, Robotics Club, Running Club

Wednesdays: Sports Zone, Swim Club (open swim), Gardening & Cooking

Thursdays: Academic Zone (Homework help, Tutoring, Board Games, Magic Cards), Sports Zone, Drama/Improv Club

Morey Neighborhood Center (MNC) offers drop-in activities Mondays & Wednesdays, 4:15 pm – 7:15 pm at Morey Middle School.

MNC is a FREE program which uses the facilities at Morey Middle School to provide recreational activities for youth outside of regular school hours, in a safe, supervised, and fun environment.
Students can: GO SWIMMING, PLAY SPORTS, USE THE WEIGHT ROOM, PLAY GAMES, DO HOMEWORK, READ, DO ART PROJECTS OR JUST HANG OUT.

A Morey After School Registration Form is required to participate in Morey Neighborhood Center. Forms are available for download here or in Room 134. More information located:

Off-site options for after school activities:

The Cope Branch of the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver picks up Morey students at 4:20 pm and offers supervised activities until 9 pm, Monday – Friday, for only $2 per year. The Cope Branch is located at 808 Inca St. Contact cope@bgcmd.org or 303-903-8214 for more information.

Students wishing to take the van to Cope Branch are REQUIRED to register with the Boys & Girls Club, sign a van permission form, and submit a Morey After School Registration Form. They also must attend a supervised after school activity in order to take the van to BGC. The van picks students up at 4:20 pm. This allows students to participate in Morey’s after school clubs/competitive Morey Middle School Athletics sports teams.
